The FADC's many extraordinary accomplishments are direct results of a unique synergy generated among a very special group of individuals.  It is our pleasure to introduce to you to the officers, directors, guild members, professionals, and staff whose efforts drive the Florida Arts and Dance Company towards its goal of enhancing the cultural awareness of the community through world-class dance education, training, and performance opportunities.

CECILIA SERRA, Executive Director, Founder 

Cecilia Serra is the founder and Executive Director of FADC. She holds her BS in Business Education and BFA in Dance and her MS in Education. Cecilia was the school administrator and a company member of the Jackson Ballet. After moving to the Treasure Coast, Cecilia opened the Palm City Dance Academy. It has always been her desire to introduce young people to the arts through dance. Her vision and leadership have been the driving force behind Florida Arts and Dance Company from its beginning. Cecilia gives her heart, time and talent to the young people that FADC serves, and ultimately provides them with a greater awareness of their talent and worth.

TATIANA KOPP, Artistic Director

Tatiana Kopp, a native of Tbilisi, Georgia (former Soviet Union), joined Florida Arts and Dance Company in 1995 as artistic director and ballet instructor following her tenure with Ballet Mississippi. She served as ballet instructor and ballet mistress, under the direction of Fernando Bujones. For 21 years, Tatiana was the prima ballerina of the Tbilisi State Opera and Ballet Theatre. After retiring from performing, Tatiana received her doctorate degree in teaching the Russian Vaganova technique and classical ballet repertoire. While in Mississippi in 1994, Tatiana was a staff member of the prestigious International Ballet Competition School of Dance in Jackson, where she returned this year as a member of the international teaching staff.
